Randy Orton vs. John Cena
-Big pops for the both of them, great match. Randy Orton got into an altercation with a fan during the match, not sure if the fan swung at him or spit at him, but security took the fan away, caused a huge scene during the match because he was fighting off security, took about 5 or 6 cops to bring him out of the arena. Craziest thing I’ve ever seen cuz the guy was nuts over Orton. Who knew that middle-aged men could get so stupid for something that ain’t real?

Cena continued to prove why he holds the World Heavyweight Title, leading his team to victory in a ginormous 10-Man Tag Match that he demanded take place.
John Cena the 5th Most Popular Celebrity
WWE World Hvt. champion John Cena’s celebrity status continues to increase, as he’s arguably approaching the cross-over “entertainment star” level previously enjoyed by the likes of Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, and The Rock.
“Contact Any Celebrity,” which is a Hollywood research firm that tracks the most number of media, charity, or any other type of entertainment avenue requests of celebrities, said John Cena is the fifth most-sought-after celebrity in 2008.
Pop singer Miley Cyrus tops the list, followed by Disney-products the Jonas Brothers and Zac Efron. Cena is fifth, ahead of Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, and Angelina Jolie.
Cena’s commitment to the “Make a Wish” foundation was documented at WrestleMania 24 earlier this year, and he continues to be sought-after as the public face of WWE, speaking exactly what WWE chairman Vince McMahon wants him to say convey his vision of the WWE brand to a speculative outside world.

Crystal Ballin’ 09
From the Hardys both carrying championship gold, to impressive Superstar returns, amazing ring debuts and dazzling Divas, 2008 has been an incredibly exciting year at WWE. With the New Year knocking on their doors, WWE.com analyzes the past 12 months for several Superstars, and what they can do to make ‘09 their best year ever. If you want to chime in with your opinions on this subject, or simply make your own “Crystal Ballin’” predictions, feel free to do so in the Forums of WWE’s online social network, WWE Universe.

High spots: After sustaining a torn pectoral injury, Cena made an unexpected, and victorious, return to the ring at the Royal Rumble last January. To bookend his astounding year, The Champ made a second triumphant return in November when he overcame neck surgery to capture the elusive World Heavyweight Championship for the first time from Chris Jericho at Survivor Series.
Low blows: While Cena basked in his glories, 2008 proved that even a seemingly impervious Superstar could be felled by injuries. For much of the year, the man whose love of wrestling is well documented was forced to watch from the sidelines as he recouped from career-threatening surgery.
Crystal ballin’: For Cena, priority one is staying healthy. If The Champ can manage to stay out of the operating room and in the ring, there’s no telling just how long his World Heavyweight Championship title reign will be.

John Cena a HUGE Merchandise Seller
According to The Wrestling Observer, John Cena’s merchandise numbers for 2008 were the best of anyone in the history of the company with the exception of “Stone Cold” Steve Austin during his peak years and Hulk Hogan in the 1980s. This is why they won’t turn him heel.
Happy New Year!

On behalf of myself and our staff here at Cena Central, have a very fun and safe New Year! 2008 was a very successful year for both us, and John Cena of course. So here’s to accomplishments for 2009!
